Same shot without the doors, but now the fiddle rail is on top. Looking at the sole in lower center of this shot, you can see how the inside and outside radii work together. Up higher, note the porthole trim rings, made on a CNC milling machine out of one piece of teak, and the pilot house window trim rings, 3/8" L shaped sections with radiused corners splined together. I made the corners on my Bridgeport milling machine with a rotary table, and should mention that that Bridgeport has been an indispensable tool, both for metal and wood. Next
